In my work, the paints and materials that once belonged to others become transformed. Scraped back they reveal hidden depths and altered surfaces. Their new form evokes memories and associations with crumbled or graffitied environments and invites us to interpret the work beyond its physical surface - a quest for enlightenment, reflecting the passage of time and mirroring the alchemical journey.
